I started making dog treats for my pups, Annie & Toby a few years ago and it expanded from there. Toby is a black Pomeranian that I adopted from a Pomeranian rescue here in Colorado in 2001. He's a spunky little guy that lets me know when he likes the new recipes and when doesn't like them. It's not very often he doesn't like a new recipe, in fact that's never happened! He helps Annie test each batch and keeps an eye if there are any extra cookies left over. Annie is an American Eskimo Dog that I had adopted from a local shelter in Colorado. She was originally a stray but they had tracked her previous owners down and she was very under socialized. She slowly started coming around with some TLC and now helps me test each batch of treats to make sure that your dog will enjoy them too. After a while I expanded to making treats for friends' dogs. A friend said that his dogs loved these treats more than the store-bought treats and encouraged me to start making my treats to share with others. Later on, I started selling them at local shops and at craft shows and that's how you ended up here at my website! Eventually I thought I'd try my hand at some horse treats and tested them out on my friends' horses. They went crazy over them so I added these to my repertoire as well. All of my treats are lab-tested for nutritional value and registered with the Colorado Board of Agriculture for sale in the state of Colorado. These treats are a lot of fun to make and I know your pets will enjoy eating them as much as I enjoy making them. |
